Well it's getting cold down under, cold and wet.  These are the sort of days I like to pull the curtain against the rain outside and settle down in front of the computer.

Word From A Winner!

Last week I hit my first Jackpot on a progressive machine, at Yukon Gold.  Fruit Fiesta $11,556.  The picture of the screen is below....

 I was wondering just how long I was going to have to play until I won a substantial sum, if Ever.  My brother and I had gambled for years, and I had not had a large win.  My brother and his family were visiting us in Hawaii when I hit this jackpot. 
 
My husband Stan won last summer, in July actually, playing Aces and Eights at Yukon Gold. I was away visiting my brother and his family in California when he hit a ROYAL FLUSH( in Spades).  He was so excited and was calling to tell me-- and in the meantime played a couple more hands.  Within 10 minutes he hit a SECOND ROYAL FLUSH.  This one was in Clubs.   So he walked off with $2,000 that night.
 
It is fantastic fun, and although I am not in shock about winning, I must admit it picked up my step for quite a while.
