Who Am I?
Born into a poor family in South America in 1960, I was spotted at age 10 by a talent scout who saw me playing for my neighbourhood football club.
I made my professional debut in the late 1970’s just before my 16th birthday, playing for a Junior team before being transferred on a £1mil contract to another state club. After the 1982 World Cup I entered into a world record contract for £5mil and moved to Spain.
I played in four FIFA World Cup tournaments and was named Footballer of all Time. Along with my success came very public failures as I battled cocaine addiction, for which I was suspended several times.
After retiring I gained much weight and continued to abuse cocaine. Upon overcoming my addiction, I am now a TV Host in my country of birth. I also have a museum in my honor and a religion that has adopted my name and worships me as a god. |
