Who Am I?
I was born during the nascence of Cold War America in Flint, Michigan, USA. My exploits over the past several years assisted in raising the profile of my humble hometown, which was once the hub of General Motors, where my parents, grandparents and other family members were all employees.
I wrote for The Michigan Times, a student newspaper, while I attended the University of Michigan’s Flint campus. I dropped out at the ripe age of 22 to pursue my journalistic aspirations and began my own publication soon after. My political stance moved me to abandon my own magazine and write for the liberal political publication, Mother Jones.
My talents are not limited to the written word, as I have released six motion pictures in the past twenty years. In 2002, I won an Oscar for best film in my category and proceeded to give the most controversial acceptance speech in Academy Award history. My latest film has just been released and critics deem it my most relevant and ambitious effort yet. |
