Although I am often remembered in a negative light, history books talk about me as one of the greatest leaders in the old world and the National Geographic has recognized me as one of the 50’s Most Important Political Leaders of All Time.

Born into a nomad tribe in the 12th century I was later proclaimed the ruler of an extent empire and given a title which meant “Universal or Invincible Prince”.

I am credited with uniting several of the larger tribes in my country, including the Merkits and

Uyghurs. Most of my beliefs that lead to my style of leadership are credited to my mother whose many lessons I would take heed later on.

I was married and had four sons, although it is widely believed I had many wives, as did many other men during that time.

No accurate portraits of me exist today and any surviving depictions are considered to be artistic interpretations. I died of unknown causes and was buried in an unmarked grave somewhere in my native country. Nowadays, my name and likeness are endorsed on products from liquors to currency notes, streets, buildings, and other places.

Enjoy this week's trivia and email your answer to me at
