Week 09, 23rd February, 2008

Hi everyone!

I hope this week’s newsletter finds you well and feeling lucky for our 2 great promotions we have for you today.

Here’s some history for you: on this day in 1819, Spain sold Florida to the United States for $5 million – a pretty good price by today’s standards! In fact, our progressive jackpot total at all of our member casinos is well over the $8 million mark!

Have a great week, and don’t forget this week’s trivia competition below.

This week we are giving out six prizes of £€$50. Good Luck!

My wife is a newscaster and I am rigorously opposed to her wearing trousers! I appeared in the Bon Jovi music video for "Say It Ain't So”.

I was raised in a strict Catholic home which had no phone, no fridge and no toilet. My father was a former military officer who later became a police officer. My surname contains 14 letters and means Black Ploughman.

I sued the Globe Tabloid in 1999 for $50m for describing my heart as a "ticking time bomb" following surgery to correct a congenital heart

valve condition in 1997. However, the Guinness Book of Records described me as “the most perfectly developed man in the history of the world”.

I sued International Game Technology in September 2001 for the unauthorized use of my voice and likeness in slot machine games. I sought $20 million in damages, which is the amount I believe I would have received had I approved the use.

My thinly-veiled character in The Simpsons is Rainier Wolfcastle, otherwise known as McBain.
